ABOUT THE ARTIST
Marisa Aragón Ware is a multidisciplinary fine artist, illustrator, and professor. Born and raised in Colorado, she garnered her deep appreciation of nature from a childhood spent enveloped in the forests of the Rocky Mountains. Those formative experiences heavily influence her work, and she strives to depict the beauty of the natural world to help others connect with its abundant primordial magic.
She received her MFA from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and currently teaches art at the University of Colorado. She most often creates with pen and ink, paper sculpture, and digital mediums, but also works as a tattoo artist as well as writing and illustrating children's books.

I love Morbid but who or what is a "tarot?"
So glad you asked. Tarot Cards have been used for centuries to read fortunes and divine messages from behind the veil. They can also be used as a tool of the subconscious, helping the reader find new perspectives of the forces that affect our lives. Readers often bond with their decks to perform readings, as each card has a unique meaning and can mean something different depending on the orientation it gets pulled.
Split into Major and Minor Arcana, the deck can provide insight and interpretation to one’s past, present, and future. The Deluxe Morbid Tarot deck is a complete 78-card set and features a booklet to help newer players interpret their readings.
Are the cards standard tarot-sized?
They sure are. Of course, tarot cards have changed throughout history, but cards from this set are 2.75" x 4.75", which is generally accepted as the tarot and oracle deck standard. The Deluxe slider box dimensions are 5.31"H x 3.31"W x 1.37"D. AKA, it will look great on any bookshelf, desk, or other type display!
When will I get my beautiful tarot card deck?
Our team of writers and artists is already hard at work crafting each and every deck. Orders will begin shipping before Spring Solstice (March 20, 2026). Please note that this is an estimate; we will do our absolute best to hit this date. If the universe permits, perhaps we'll be able to ship even earlier.
Is this available internationally?
Of course. We love all our weirdos! International shipping is available at checkout. Please note that shipping rates vary accordingly.
When will my credit card be charged and what is the cancellation policy?
Not that you'll want to cancel, but just in case: Credit cards will be charged at time of purchase. All orders must be cancelled prior to the order window closing date on the Winter Solstice (11:59pm, December 20th). Please understand that these tarot decks are made-to-order. Once the order window closes we will begin production and can no longer cancel any orders.
